Timothy G. Merrill graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in History. He received his Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served as Associate Editor of the International Law and Management Review. Mr. Merrill is an adjunct professor at the BYU Salt Lake Center. His involvement in community and legal outreach programs include working with inmates at the Utah State Prison and advising Native Americans on the Fort Duchesne Reservation. Mr. Merrill is an experienced negotiator and has represented clients from across the country. He prosecutes for several cities and also focuses in the practice of intellectual property (trademark and copyright), contract and business law, divorce and family law, and estate planning. Mr. Merrill speaks French and is married with three children.
