James “Tucker” Hansen received his bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in 1985 and his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University in 1988. Mr. Hansen was admitted to practice law by the Arizona State Bar in 1989 and was admitted to practice law by the Utah State Bar in 1990. He entered the Firm of Harding & Associates as an associate attorney in the American Fork Office. The Firm subsequently became Duval Hansen Witt & Morley. Mr. Hansen left the Firm to start his own law practice. During and subsequent to his employment with the Firm, Mr. Hansen has acted at various times as Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Alpine, American Fork, Cedar Hills, Pleasant Grove, Lindon and Lehi. In addition to the municipal law which Mr. Hansen handles, he also has extensive experience in general litigation, real estate law and contract law.
